Richard "Ricky Star" Starbinski

Executive Director Since 1985

The outsider who charmed his way in. Starting as a valet from Baltimore, Ricky earned "special dispensation" to wrestle and became a three-time champion. His theatrical brilliance and trusting nature have guided the CCWAA for decades, bringing Vegas showmanship to country club tradition.

Maxwell "Max" McCallahan III

Nine-Time CCWAA Champion

Known as "The Hostile Takeover," Max burst onto the scene in 1988 with a perfect 12-0 rookie season—a record that still stands. Born into privilege and dynasty wealth, Max brought undeniable talent to the ring, though his style never quite captured hearts the way it captured titles. Current CCWAA Heavyweight Champion and owner of McCallahan Resort Properties.

The Man, The Myth, The Sequins

Richard "Ricky Star" Starbinski has served as Executive Director of the CCWAA since 1992, stepping into the role following what organization records refer to only as "The Phieffer Incident" (court-sealed documents prevent us from elaborating, though we can confirm no actual flamingos were harmed).

Wrestling Career Highlights (1961-1991)
  • 🏆 Three-time CCWAA Singles Champion (1965, 1971, 1978)
  • 🤝 Tag Team Champion with "Magnificent" Maurice Goldbloom as "The Merger & Acquisition" (1968-1970)
  • 💫 Inventor of the "Champagne Suplex" (banned in 1973 for excessive elegance)
  • First wrestler to enter via chandelier (Las Vegas Invitational, 1974)
Executive Achievements

Under Ricky's leadership since 1992, the CCWAA has successfully transitioned from telegraph to fax communications (1993), pioneered electronic mail for tournaments (1996), and established the annual Wayne Newton Invitational Gala & Wrestling Spectacular. His unique blend of athletic prowess and theatrical sensibility has increased membership by 3%—the first growth since the Reagan administration.

"In country club wrestling, as in life, it's not whether you win or lose—it's how magnificent you look while determining the proper procedural vote for declaring a winner."

— From his upcoming autobiography: "From Headlocks to Headquarters: A Gentleman's Journey"
