About Steve Bartlett
A tax attorney in his 40s who has failed at every country club sport imaginable—golf, tennis, croquet, even shuffleboard. All he wants is a championship blazer and the sense of belonging that comes with it. Desperate for a championship blazer and the belonging it represents. Haunted by childhood bully Max, he must find courage he never knew he had.
Character Journey
Steve's journey is from defeated underdog to unlikely champion. He must overcome his fear of Max, his fear of failure, and ultimately learn that belonging comes from within, not from a blazer.
